This Privacy Policy explains how BlackSpade Ventures, LLC ("SpadeRank," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the SpadeRank AI-visibility platform at spaderank.ai and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or, if you sign in with Google, your Google-provided name and email). We never store your password in plain text.
• Billing information — subscription plan, trial status, and billing history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Audit inputs — the website domains, brand names, categories, competitors, and page URLs you submit so we can run AI-visibility audits for you.
• Usage and device data — log data such as IP address, browser type, pages accessed, and timestamps, used for security, rate limiting, and reliability.
• Cookies — a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and secure the Service and run your audits.
• To process subscriptions, trials, and payments, and to prevent abuse and fraud.
• To send transactional messages (email verification, billing notices, security alerts).
• To send lifecycle and marketing emails about the Service. You can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails; this does not affect transactional messages.
• To improve and develop the Service.

3. How the Service shares information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run the Service, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service. If we are involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data retention

We retain account and audit data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Audit reports are retained per your plan's stated history window. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data, except where we must retain records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

5. Security

We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption of sensitive configuration at rest, hashed passwords, scoped access controls, and tenant isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your rights and choices

• Access, correction, deletion — you can access and update your information in the app, and delete your account to remove your data. Depending on your location (e.g., the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights to access, port, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
• Marketing opt-out — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us.

7. International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process your information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
